Never getting tired of looking at these wheels. Polishing my fresh coat of paint makes it shine!!

New idea for a crazy-looking 1600cc unit, using the original single-port heads, a Solex 40DHH carb, and some vintage bolt-on's.

BIG (2275cc) plans! Just got the bulky stuff from the US, wow! Bolted some stuff together just to see what it will look like.

2009-07-31:
New wheels fitted, again! Since I got a CX for the other wheels below, and Midland Wheels had a sale on fully chromed 4x130 gasburners, I thought I'd take a chance with those. And WOW!

Finally some action in the garage. Getting the '66 on wheels!! Won't be running the standard steel ones later, just for garage-use..

Almost done with the welding on this car. Using all original 1966 metal for patching the bad areas on this project.

2008-12-28:
In the 70's or so they thought it was a good idea to patch the repair-panels over the original fenderwell... time to tidy up this area.

2008-09-21:
Finally some fresh photos. Not alot has happened I have been busy with the 55 and my old boat. But here are a couple pics. Tried on the new wheels, it's impossible to drive it this low though as you have just about no turning-radius with the 205 tyres up front. Got a rustfree door.

2008-07-26:
Engine/gearbox is out and work proceeds with welding all the rust. A guy building a volksroadster pick-up was helpful and gave me a rustfree rear half of another 66 so all the metal have been sourced! Thanks!

More work with
disassembly and cleaning. I have to say it's nice to work on a car practically not touched since factory. Rust you can weld but if someone "screwed it up" it's hard to get it original again. But this is a nice one!!

2008-06-24:
Got it into the garage this weekend and started to take it apart. It definitely needs new paint! Looks like it came right of the production-line in some places, and in other places not so much..

2008-05-21:

Nice original car, has some rust but an honest low-mile untouched, all original plus an eberspacher-heater and
albert mirrors. Very nice interior, and yes that is the original tool-kit laying on the bambus parcel-shelf!
